2014 YWCA  winner for the Women of Distinction Award category – Turning Point.               She has overcome adverse circumstances and draws from her experience to inspire strength and success in others.

2014 Fierce Diamond Recipient – Inspirational Category                                                         Woman who has motivated and ignited a spark within others through her words, actions and by sharing her story. They have an authoritative voice which is heard and listened to by everyone. They lead by example, giving back to the community through teaching, volunteering, and/or mentoring. They lead change by inspiring others.

2014 Diversity Community Woman of the Year                                                                              Woman fearlessly engage both professionally and personally in making changes that support diversity in the community. She has gone above and beyond the call of duty to provide mentorship to others, is an advocate for an inclusive and supportive climate, volunteering and engaging in the community. This award is not be based on a single achievement, but rather on the totality of a person’s efforts over a sustained period of time.
